What to Expect At your First appointment

Established Patients Please Use 

Contact Form to Schedule and Appointment 

• Several forms will be sent to you through a HIPAA compliant Electronic Medical Record. Please complete the forms no later than 24 hours before your appointment. 
• Wear comfortable loose clothing to your appointment. 
• Eat a snack or a small meal before your appointment. 
• We will chat about your medical history for 1-1.5 hours during your initial appointment and 15 minutes during follow ups. 
• A light acupuncture treatment will be given during your first appointment.   No herbs will be given for your first 2 appointment so that I can measure how you react to acupuncture. 
• After your second appointment I will create your treatment plan. The treatment plan lays out how we will treat your condition and set a time for reassessment of your condition.  Acute conditions usually take a shorter time to treat and chronic conditions take a longer time to treat. The treatment plan includes acupuncture, herbs, supplements, body work, and dietary therapy suggestions.
